Below you will find examples of what to carry in a basic activist toolkit and an advanced one.

Basic toolkit

For protests, rallies and other actions you will be attending.

Advanced “red level” activist toolkit

Some of these items may be illegal to carry in your area. This toolkit is a bit different to one that you might have with you for a protest or rally type situation. It is more suited for ‘sneaky’ actions.

• Multi-use tool

• Headtorch

• Spare batteries for all tech gear

• First-aid kit

• Walkie-talkies

• Balaclava (you may have to make one yourself)

• Water/food

• Tiny screwdriver set

• Duct tape/electrical tape

• Black gloves and/or biohazard gear + hand sanitiser

• Brick/burn phone

• Wire and/or bolt cutters
